The old version of air conditioner is a window air conditioner. In a window air conditioner all components including compressor and condenser are installed in a single body. But in split air conditioners indoor and outdoor units are split into two parts. That’s why these systems are called split. Split AC installation is bit complicated and cost is also bit more than a window air conditioner. Split air conditioner brands are LG, Voltas, Blue Star, Daikin, Hitachi, O-General, Mitsubishi, Cooper & Hunter, Panasonic, MAXA, Haier and Carrier.
